(as in: is it safe for me to post it or could he get the money back once he´s received the item cuz ebay deleted the auction?)

Thanks

How has he bought it if the auction was pulled? You mean you agreed a sale outside ebay? If that's the case then you takes your money...................

He bought and like an hour later ebay deleted the auction.
Was a buy it now with immediate payment

If you're a 'valued ebayer' (ahem!) you should have the priveliged(?) member CS phone number. Call them and ask.

The item you sold is not meant to be sold on ebay and thats why they have took it off Yes ?

Anyway you should still send it should be fine

Just give them a call then and make sure it's ok to send it, and that you still have protection even though the listing was pulled.

You sure? It´s courier so it´s trackable.
Should be fine to make sure I won´t get ripped off as I can prove that I posted (gets picked up tomorrow) and that he has received it then on monday.

I once had this happen to me. I was selling some perfume and had used a pic off another website - didnt know I shouldnt have done that. The winning bidder paid immediately and I messaged her back saying "thanks for paying so quickly, I will get this sent out tomorrow"

Got a message from ebay saying my auction was removed due to me breaching copyright rules yadeeda....................then got a cheeky message back from the buyer who obviously had got same ebay message and she quoted my original message ...................................."thanks for paying so quickly..................................and she added.................yeah no probs so can u now refund me quickly"

I did - and re listed it later using my digitial camera for a pic and got more for it !

Does anyone know for sure how this is handled?
If I post via trackable means I should be safe or not?

I think you ought to be more worried about the buyer, they are the one who are going to think they have been ripped off.

Why was the item removed ?

Was a banned 360 so they figured I was selling backups with it or something.
Note: I was only selling the banned console and hard drive, nothing else.

I´m worried about being ripped off too LOL
That´s why I´m asking if it´s safe for me to post the item.
:)

I spoke to the buyer earlier on msn (before the listing got pulled and i told him I booked courier for tomorrow etc)
Also emailed him after it got pulled saying I assume he still wants to go through with it and I´ll still get it out to him as arranged.

If you're worried, just refund his money and try and sell it on here?

You haven't got anything to worry about as long as you have proof of delivery.

That´s what I wanted to hear, thank you :)
Is there anything on ebay or paypal about this topic at all?
About posting an item that has been deleted off ebay but has been paid for?
Guess not?

No I guess it´s ok as I use a trackable courier.
IF i managed to sell it on here I´d get a LOT less than on eBay ;-)

That's what i'm getting at,it's all advice in the buyers favour, that's why i said it's them who might be worried as Ebay advise a buyer NOT to complete the transaction,as i say,you don't have any probs in completing it.

I see.
So as long as I get the item out to the buyer there can be no problems?
As in him being able to claim money through paypal back even though I posted it and he´s received it?
I thought if a listing gets removed, both the buyer and the seller lose ebay paypal protection?

you loose ebay protection, as far as they are concerned that item no longer exists, if the buyer wants to go ahead just proceed as normal. It is no longer an ebay item so buyer can only claim for non receipt with paypal and you will have proof of that.
