I recently purchased some bedroom items off ebay, and when it arrived, I noticed some of it was covered in little green dots of paint. I emailed the seller, who didn't respond. Several days later I filed a dispute with ebay, and shortly after the seller answered my original message (not the dispute one) saying that it 'looked fine when she packed it' and that she would offer a refund but not postage either way.
Without being funny, its over £7 postage each way, I cant afford to be out of pocket by that much! I'm not entirely sure what I want to do, I dont really want to send them all back as some of the items are lovely, but its not much good if its not a full set, and not worth the amount I paid if part of them are damaged.
The woman is still sending me messages through ebay messaging, I haven't been answering now as I think she should use the dispute system so they know whats going on?
Or would it be better to file a paypal dispute rather than ebay?
Any advice gratefully received!
