go to resolution centre & do it properly. cheques can take weeks to be returned but paypal will save you both time and hassle, no question!

They are mad.........you can take it by Cheque and then get it back via Paypal as well.

paypal refund as u payed this way!

2 weeks is not long enough to claim refund royal mail will not look at sellers claim after just 2 weeks
#7
no,you paid via paypal, open an "item not recieved" dispute via paypal....if they still offer to pay via cheque refuse,as they will ask you to close the dispute and then your stuffed...........go through paypal...thats what its for.

Ask for a postal order if they won't refund you by paypal... Unless u don't mind waiting 2 weeks for paypal to get your money back..

i know its not for the buyer but since royal mail will not do anything for the seller the buyer should not recieve money before then .

its not been that long especially at thistime of year still a good chance it could turn up

i think she just sent it normal post not recorded or anything.

your right it still might turn up,BUT its not paypal policy to wait until the seller claims off royal mail for an item lost, they will refund before.A good seller will refund the buyer, then claim off RM...if the seller has good fb and provides a tracking number i would wait a few days more to see what post turns up.....if they dont have good fb and no tracking number the OP should put a claim in,they can always cancel if the item turns up.

is her feedback good?........i would start an item not recieved, and if it shows up you can close the dispute.

i just think its a long time to wait for an item 2weeks, ive posted things out to buyers who have recieved it in a couple of days last week, the lady seems nice and ive not opened a dispute as i thought would rather sort it out without one, and if the item did turn up after she refunded me then i would pay her back i wouldnt try and scam her.
