Ebay refunds, how long do they take?

Had to open a ebay dispute for an item not received, the seller agreed to refund and I got the following message from eBay Monday night but nothing is showing in my Paypal about it? Anyone had similar? Could it be the seller has no paypal funds and paypal having to extract it from her bank account?

"Hello W***er,
We've informed the seller that you didn't receive the item. The seller offered you a full refund of £56.50 to be issued through the same payment method you used to pay for the item.

Refund information:
A full refund of £56.50 was made through the payment method used to pay for the item."

No, nothing at all there about it, it was a ebay dispute rather than paypal if that makes any difference.

Monday night so 72 hours give or take. Seller agreed refund so I didn't have to get ebay to look at it.

Looks like a glitch in the ebay dispute system when a seller offers you a refund and you send a message back it marks it has refunded ebay discussion

and here too

I had to open a dispute the other day as the seller wasn't replying. I'd bought individual little items from their shop and paid in one go. As they were buy it nows, they had to be put through as single disputes, so there were 7 disputes. The seller refunded the first 5 and was very honest and said that the other 2 had disappeared and she couldn't refund them, so she went through paypal to refund me. She messaged to check I'd received 5 refunds etc. I was really upset as it was for a friend's little girl for christmas and ended up buying her something naff instead as these hadn't turned up!

All sorted now as I suspected its a known glitch, spent 10 minutes on online chat this morning and he gave me the freephone number, for ebay and a PIN on phoning and explaining they basically admitted it was a known glitch and have refunded me from what looks like their own pockets

"Refund information:
We have issued a courtesy credit of £56.50 to your PayPal account."
