Where`s the hamper? They`ve just wrapped it up in a cheap looking flag. That`s false advertising that is.

Not even Yorkshire Gold Tea....
#22
Well all I have to do is wait for the reply, I asked

Really??? Who in their right mind is going to pay £25 plus for a few items costing the best part of £4 in Asda
#23
Hi,

I was wondering whether the item comes in a wicker basket or wrapped in the flag? If just the flag how big is it? Will all the items be fresh when they arrive or will they be out of date? I am worried you will send the ones in the picture?

If I asked could you fulfill a larger order for 100 or more as a corporate royal wedding gift? If I were to do this could you include a bar of Cadburys chocolate in the price say £30 buy it now?

thanks

This isnt half as bad as what someone has done in my area, a guy has just started a bussines up, and what it is is you call him up and he drive's to any take out (in the area for you) picks up your meal and delivers day or night for a fee. Insane, I Guess its just a smaller version of justeat lol
#34
Sent this message....what's the odd's on a reply?

Dear cherylgibbs1032,

Can you replace the tea for coffee? I don't like tea. Could you also swap the crumpets for some cat food, my cat is hungry. Also we don't eat fruit so the scones will be no good but I would like some beef dripping. I find jam a little sweet with dripping so sea salt or marmite would be good. Finally being Dutch I would prefer to have a flag from Dutchland, it would be great if you could accomodate these changes and maybe get a life.
Thanks
[mod]#35
that takes the biscuit - also watching X)
#36
these are aimed at ex-pats who cant get hold of this sort of stuff in the country they now reside in. There are a few of these on ebay and include all sorts of so called british foods. marmite, homepride, golden wonder crisps etc

Whilst it is odd I'm sure American people think the same about the people from here who pay way over the odds on there for things like mountain dew, double stuf oreos and lucky charms.

It's not too bad if you're not near as Asda. :|

Aww, she's really nice as well. I asked about the best before date on the crumpets and scones as the wedding is not for a month.
She replied 'Hi, I'd go and buy some new ones for you and they'd have about a 7 day BB date but in order for them to last until the wedding you can freeze them and then take them out the day before the wedding and they'll last another 7 days.'

:)
