dont even think about it. Either offer it to the next highest bidder or relist.

Is the buyer a man of the cloth ? they usually are. I'd stay well clear if I were you.

nigeria is nutoriously full of scammers, report them to ebay and offer to the next highest bidder

i put on my ads now
NO I WILL NOT SEND TO YOUR GRANNY IN NIGERIA

it works..
i had a friend sold her phone 3 times and all scams!

op, under ebay rules you are duty bound to complete the transaction.

you will get a negative feedback or your a/c being suspended.

sorry no sympathy from me, you could have used the "country exclusion" list.

the buyer won it fair n square

DON FALL FOR THIS. NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY DON'T SHIP TO NIGERIA

As long as you have proof of postage what could possibly go wrong?

I feel sorry for genuine Nigerian ebayers, do you think they ever get to buy anything off ebay?

This never works for me as on Gumtree I still get them 24/7,but I say uncle Fred & maybe that's what I'm doing wrong.

this is rubbish as chances are their account will be closed in days so they cant leave a neg!

and ebay would never suspend an account for this..

dont send it readvertise or offer to underbidder.

As usual, more rubbish from you about ebay/paypal.

The scammers account is most likely hacked or have false details meaning if the buyer had excluded certain countries he could have still bid and won, so that wouldn't have made any difference. The account will be closed and any neg removed. There is no chance whatsoever the sellers account will get suspended. Even if the buyer is legitimate, you are allowed to cancel the transaction if they want the item shipping to a difefrent address than on the ebay/paypal account.

OP don't send and go to live help and report them, live help can usually get accounts suspended within a few minutes.

where did I say that?
The buyer is asking to send to an address other than listed on ebay or paypal, so there would be no protection if he did. That is acceptable by ebay as a reason not to complete the transaction.
Unlike your stupid friend who didn't follow the rules, as long as you do then you will be ok.
If the purchase is eligable for seller protection and he sends to the paypal address with a signature then he would get his money back. Sending to Nigeria when the account is most likely to be registered in the UK or USA won't be following the rules, and therefore not eligable. Bit like sending 10 days after payment, when the rules clearly say 7.

Where's the ebay rule that says you have to complete the transaction if the buyer wants sending to a different address?

Can't believe you are advising the seller to send the phone, knowing full well its a scam and he won't be covered by seller protection. Just because someone you know got ripped off you shouldn't try to get others to lose money. Bit sad and pathetic really.

if you actually took your head out of your hairy harris, you would have noticed that the op no where mentions that the address differs to the paypal payment.

to accuse all nigerians as scammers is obscene and racist

Well he implies it by saying now (ie something different to originally agreed) he wants me to send to nigeria and paying the extra costs. Why would there be extra costs if it was to the registered address? And I did address the fact it might be the same address by saying he will be covered if he sends to the registered address with a signature. Obviously you missed that bit as it didn't fit in with your stupidity.
Why do you never answer questions to back up your idiotic claims?
You just go onto any paypal or ebay thread and talk rubbish, in this case trying to cost the OP money. If you are like this in real life you are obviously a nasty vindictive person. Why would you want the OP to lose money?
