Ebay Scammer

I nearly got scammed myself but have not and will not pay.
I posted quite alot of information on the discussion boards but as expected it got deleted, so then questioned why it was deleted and that got deleted too. As it was against the rules, so fair enough.

I contacted ebay about it, yet they have done nothing and the scammer is still selling items. His feedback is over 100 and all positive, (apart from 1 very recent negative probably from someone who got ripped off, as they mention scammer in the feedback).
The feedback is private but when you look at the items of which people who have left feedback for they are all feedback for feedback deals. Eg ebooks, 1p, 1cent items.

The seller only accepts bank transfer. With the amount of items he is selling its impossible to track who he has received payments from as there would be so many.

Looking at his selling history he sold a staggering £4,500. worth of items. The items are simply 2 items but with a bulk amount.

People are being ripped off everyday, as the prices are reasonably cheap for the items.

Cant see your point. he is selling 4 items with a feedback score of 99.2

Whats wrong with bank transfer?
banned#16
i think the op is referring to the fact the seller had purchased may 1p ebooks to get themselves some feedback, so they can get trusted and now gonna rip people off, with selling 7 Army Of Two - PS3 Games, well think thst what the op means

csiman a bank transfer cant be pulled back
#17
Dodgy as hell. Obviously not a private seller so business details including address HAS to be listed in the item description. One to avoid as he is most likely a scammer.

absolute idiot buys item then leave negative feedback an hour later???? "

Don't scammers usually give you their bank details etc so you can pay them? The buyer's complaint is that the seller never gave any payment details not that he was ripped off?

anyone know if its possible to have an ignore list on ebay? i logged into my account but dont see any option to ignore the guy or block his items for sale.

I didn't get scammed. I nearly did.

Searching on goofbay look at the items
http://www.goofbay.com/ebay_seller_history_tool.html?gsl_username=377weber&gsl_days=30&gsl_include=sold&gsl_submit=&gsl_submit.x=0&gsl_submit.y=0

Look at the selling dates first one is the 4th. Many people have bought the games but no feedback as of yet. Maybe he has not sent the games out yet? therefore no feedback or maybe he doesn't even have any games at all.

It would be a major task controlling all the payments, whilst posting the items out.

Search block bidders and you can add or remove sellers

AFAIK you can only block potential bidders/buyers from items you're selling.

I don't think you can have a list which prevent items from a certain seller from displaying when searching.

So a blocked buyer may not be able to bid on your item but you can still buy what they are selling (unless they have blocked you too in retaliation :p).

Found a way to block sellers through use of the ebay advanced item search:

ebay - Block Seller's Listings

*Note that at present there is no way to permanently exclude seller's listings; the above must be done each time. eBay administration sees no need for a seller block function (yet).

Note too that if you are doing a search of listings in eBay stores, you cannot exclude specific sellers.

Not as straightforward as having a saved custom list of dodgy sellers to avoid.
