Ebay threats, what to do?

Basically long story short, i started selling something on ebay and am the cheapest on ebay for that product...but this appears to have annoyed one of my competitors who has sent me an email telling me to raise my prices or face negative feedbacks from him. Items that had two people watching them now have 8 people watching them...he says that i have 24 hours to raise my prices.

What should i do? i looked at the report feature but nothing seemed to really suit the situation

well thats the thing he created a new username *with 0 feedback* to send the message and now i don't know the names of the accounts that are going to buy my stuff so i can't just add them to the ban list.

Well you can add a filter in so that you don't accept new customers can't you? If you are really worried about it I believe you can ring eBay.

well its on ebay italy, i've just forwarded his email to the italian police and said that it looked like he was trying to extort me...i've reported it to ebay we shall see how it goes

Lower your price by 5p and put in the description "New Lower Price hope you're happy now" and put their username on the end.....

Anyone got the ebay number? i might well need it, if for nothing else but to get the inevitable negatives taken off. I've set up the new user ban thing and the paypal link account...but i'd assume someone who is this petty would at least have 5 verified ebay accounts.

Don't worry i'm italian enough to handle that heat, they touch my kitty and they'll be waking up next to to worse things than horses heads. I do think the fact that my address shows as uk gave this guy the idea that he could bully me though.

Is it a buy-it-now? If so, set it up so buyers have to pay immediately. That way, he won't be able to "buy" it, leave a neg, and then never pay.

P.S. If you find out any account names, post them up here

it's telling me i need a business or premier paypal account to do that...as you can see i'm pretty new at this lark.
