Am sure Im not the only one to get annoyed when companies like ebuyer stick a ridiculous postage excess for small items which are delivered free to other parts of the UK in this case £7 postage for a £1.99 extension cable.

Well I found a way to avoid the charge. If you enter an incorrect postcode for your delivery address you enter it manually and it will not charge you the excess for being northern ireland.

So for example if your actuall adress is

J.Bloggs
1 Stormont Road
Belfast
BT4 3LP

Put;

J.Bloggs
1 Stormont Road
Belfast
BY4 3LP

It will take longer to come, due to UPS sorting out the correct postcode, but I can confirm it worked on my order. I am certainly not against paying extra but £7 extra sounds like we are paying for everyone else's postage

No problem, I just hate the ridiculous surcharge for being northern ireland. Some companies do it even if they use royal mail, who never charge excess for northern ireland!

Play them at their own game is what I say!
