EE are increasing their prices above the RPI allowing you to leave penalty free.

I raised on the EE forum after stumbling over an increase:-

https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Landline-phones/Notification-of-Price-Increases-January-Price-rise/m-p/508854#M388

Not many helpful replies but 'starry' saved the day:-

'I received an e-mail today about the price increases for January...

The price of your line rental will increase by £1.75 a month

The price of calls you make from your landline that are outside of your plan allowance is changing; our call connection fee to UK landlines and mobiles will increase from 17p to 20p

There are also changes to other call rates

Then the normal rubbish blurb......

We try to keep price rises to a minimum, but in order to continue to invest in the service that we provide, we need to make this price increase. We appreciate that the price increase does change the amount you spend with EE each month. So if you would like to discuss your options or cancel your contract without charge please call us by 16 December 2016 on 0800 079 0177'

get a call recording app if u have android (not sure on ios) then call EE.

You need to tell them you are leaving due to the price increase and tell them this should be penalty free.

Which provider isn't raising their prices? That's EE, BT and Sky now, isn't it.

No unfortunately, if it was any more than the RPI figure you could.
