I don't know really where to put this, but I wanted to share it as I think it could be useful to others.
I have been with orange for a good few years now, I would say 5.
I rang today and spoke to someone about dropping my tariff down, he said he would have to get a supervisor to call me back within the hour. He kept saying as I am a valuable and loyal customer he will help me out. I am not very loyal, I don't usually pay my bill on time!
The supervisor rang me back not long later and continued calling me a loyal customer. He went through my current £29.99 tariff, unlimited texts, unlimited messages and 1gb data, and said I don't use much of my plan. He dropped my tariff from £29.99 to £11.99 starting on my next billing date. I still have unlimited texts but just 250mg of data, which is fine for me as I am always connected to wifi.
Anyway to cut a long story short, with relatively no work I have reduced my phone bill by less than half and I am getting a call back about my upgrade in a few months.
For people who are struggling give them a call and see if you can get a saving too!
