Electric ceramic cooker advice!!

Not that it means alot to you lot but after 8 years WHERE MOVING!!!!

Anyway were moving out into the countryside and we only have an electric supply.

The last electric cooker we had only had hot plates and they where CRAP and in the end went rusty!!

A brand new Indesit cooker and 6 months after the hot plates are rusty!

Anyway i have a budget of £300 for a new cooker. I'd like a ceramic one as my wife is colour blind and likes to see things when there on and i know an induction one is far beyond my budget.

Needs to be silver.

Can anyone give me some advice on their cookers, there make and how they have found them and where they bought them from.

Ive found this one which is slightly over budget:

Thanks in advance

Mine's ceramic and it's an Indesit, cost me well below £300 nearly 4 years ago, it's small but it does the job

whats the model number and is it the 500mm version?

Ok, I have the instruction booklet here, yes it is 50cm and the model number is KD3E1/G

Cracking little cooker for my needs anyway.

Bought it from Comet I think?

OP, Serious question, dont you get fed up with being served beans instead of peas by the colour blind cook?

Funny when you ask for advice or help on here no one takes the opportunity to point out your poor grammar and sentence structure...

many duel fuel cookers can use propane if that's an option?

I think your budget will need a stretch to get a 60cm silver one tbh. I think your looking £400 plus. My last Belling 60cm wide silver was £400.
I would say tho the Zanussi i had 8 years and then gave it to someone who kept it another couple of years..the Belling after 8 years hs gone to my son still working all fine looks modern. You get your moneys worth.
My daughters came off ebay 6mths old local auction £50 60cm wide hotpoint. I did trawl for all her stuff but she even got warranty with it. Its worth a try?
Ceramic hob is a brilliant think imo-quick wipe all done! i would never have another. The basic bekos tho dont have the halogen quick start rings which is good to have. I now have a whirlpool hob which i also love so im sure you will like one just a case of finding in budget!
