We were looking at going there or maybe the one below but prices are mounting up.

How much did you get it booked for, as they were looking at around £1800 for 4 nights half board and travel but it looks like travel is adding another £700, which can't be right, can it?

You'll like the hotel but probably hate the Easter crowds at DLP. We did it at Easter 2 years ago and our kids (then 8 and 5) voted to abandon the third day's entrance ticket and go to the nearby aquarium instead. Sold the unused portion of the tickets on eBay on return. The crowds make a full 3 days too tiring imo. But maybe your lot have more stamina than us!

i booked during the 40% off (went thru quidco directly to site) and booked eurostar (thru quidco again) seperatly as was much cheaper plus u can choose exact places. we are getting brekky, 2 nights, 3 days, tickets and staying at the 4 star new york, and eurostar for 2 adults and 2 kids (under 4 is free but im not holding my 2 yr old in my lap for 2 hrs!) all for under £650!!! we booked to go tomoorw till tues as tomorrow onwards peak season finishes.... just gotta sit there and figure out cheapest time to go on eurostar and disnry....good luck. u want me to foraward u a lil insiders guide to disney i got sent by a hukd person a while back. wuill have to email it though.

Book cheap hotel and Eurostar yourself. It cost us less than £500 I think for three days/two nights and that was including DLP tickets. That was one adult and two kids (I skipped that hol) but included a fair bit of searching and organising.

My Uncle went, said he woulda been cheaper gong to Florida.

Our friend went, said the same thing, said it was ridiculously over priced for everything.

I hope you have a great time tho. :)

Sounds good, I'll PM you my email ad in a bit.

I'm thinking about taking the car via euro tunnel, which works out a lot cheaper plus it seems quite expensive travelling from eurostar to Disneyland via resorthoppa.

The Aquarium is definitely an idea, might have to check that out. :)

Bit late for you Magic - but you will have a good time. DLP is small enough not to tire the wee ones out too much.

For anyone looking to go on a budget there are 4 hotels just outside Disney. We have stayed at the Holiday inn and more recently the Explorers Hotel Disney (has a pool and much better facilities for the kids) Also has rooms sleeping up to 8 people I think (separate mum & dads room if you fancy a 'cocoa' together once the darlings are asleep). These places are a fraction of the cost of Disney hotels but run courtesy buses avery 15 mins into Disney (approx 5 mins from DLP gates). Run late into the evening so you can go to Downtown Disney for a bite to eat after.

These do not have the 'pure' Disney feel - but are absolutely fine if you want to go on a budget.

I also recommend the German Pub in Downtown - they do promos on the Steins of lager - buy one get one free. Great since it is pretty expensive to eat/drink otherwise.

I think MB will be more up to date on best deals than me. The only thing I can offer as a tip of sorts is to look on ebay for cheaper park tickets - people selling unused days of multi-day tickets. But on saying that, MB might know places that sell 'new' tix at discounted prices..?

Thanks for the advice everyone.
Does anyone know if outside hotels such as the Dream Castle include passes to the park throughout the duration of your stay or if they provide a discount, as I can get sorted out for quite cheap?

Have a good one MB. :-D
