Euromillions

£0.00 @ Euromillions
Has anyone else noticed that the fee for Euromillions is to be increased by 50p from 24th September to £2.50 a go? Looks like the only difference in a chance of winning is an extra lucky star.

so even more ridiculous odds!!
I still think its funny that if you walk to the local newsagent to get your ticket, you've actually got a better chance of being hit by a bus and killed than you have of winning the lottery

Why do people still play UK lotteries. They are so poor with odds and returns.

The health lottery has got to be one of the worse, really poor donations and they just word and market it to make the buyer feel they are helping good causes in the chance to win some cash.

Very poor that this Government did not overhaul the gambling act after Labour botched it in their last term.

Thank you for your comments. Just noticed that in last night's Euromillions draw NOBODY got 5 numbers and 2 lucky stars, and just 2 people in Europe got 5 numbers and 1 lucky star, so no-one in the UK won any decent prizes.

that's just the luck of the lottery, same could be said by those countries when we win big like last week. if you want to complain have a look at the sizes of the prizes in the normal lotto draw especially the 5 plus bonus ball, with the exception of last week they have been tiny.

seems they didn't learn after increasing the normal lotto prices last year, the increase is just another money making scheme dressed up to look better for the punter but only winners are the Canadian Teachers Pensions who own the lottery.

Stop buying them.

Then they will have to bring the price down.
