This is the more important of the 'foreign affairs' programmes on TV tonight :)

We've got to get a result from this one what with Aguero missing for them. Forlan has been playing poorly, but is always a threat. Simao and Reyes are the two other danger men.

I can see us reverting to 4-4-2 again with Torres being out, and the team being something like:

----------------------Reina--------------------------
Johnson -- Carragher -- Kyriagkos --Agger
Gerrard--Mascherano--Lucas--Benayoun
-------------------Kuyt--Babel---------------------

Which can then revert to 4-2-3-1 if needed

----------------------Reina--------------------------
Johnson -- Carragher -- Kyriagkos --Agger
--------------Mascherano--Lucas-----------------
Kuyt-----------------Gerrard------------Benayoun
--------------------------Babel-------------------------

Aquilani might get a game ahead of Lucas though, so we'll see.

I hope we play attacking football while we have the opportunity, shame Torres is out, but I still think we are capable of scoring goals.

Liverpool lineup will probably be defensive as it's an away game. 4-5-1

Result - 0 - 1 (Kuyt)

Rafa will stick to his normal system of one up front, most likely to be Ngog. Lucas will start ahead of Aqualini. If we get a draw I'd be happy

Lets hope he has a change of hearts, unless he's going to let Lucas go forward.

Atletico are a funny old side lately, very unpredictable. Knowing Rafa's experience in Europe this will probably be a very tight game and I'd go for 1-1.

Fulham against Hamburg should be a hard game but then everyone thought that about the Shatkar, Juve and Wolfsburg games. Only one of their last 5 home league games so lets hope Fulham can carry on with their great run in this comp, I'd love to see them go on and win it as they deserve it if they have overcome all of the above teams.

According to Lucas' twitter page, it looks like they had an eventful trip on the way to Madrid

Is Gerrard interested? Half arsed. Bring on babel we will score. Offside goal wasn't offside

1-0 lose wasn't that bad a result lets hope we perform at Anfield. And a very good result for Fulham, english final?
