This is for a friend, he moed to a few days before end of Feburary but his parents won a months holiday a few days later so he gave me the keys to look after place.
In the first few days about £10 electric vanished over 5 days despite all being on was the fridge, I then put in £10 as planned to be there 4 nights but ended up being 3 and just used laptop about 8 hours over 3 nights, had energy saving bulb on for about total of 16 hours and used oven for total of about a hour and used about £4 this period.
My friend decided to spend longer with his family so hasnt been back yet as living with parents so I still have the keys, I have been back about once a week as get my important parcels sent there and the meter is guzzling electric, I went there 2 weeks ago today and turned main fuse box off so no power was going through house and came back 9 days later to find £4 vanished.
How can £4 be taken off when standing charge is £1.21 a week?
By my checking the times I have been there its been taking about 46p a day off instead of half that so why is it taking exactly double the amount it shoud when theres no debt on meter?
