maybe he works for the company?
#3
could be but seems too good to be true as i don't think they would exchange the 1st gen of the psp
#4
look at the guys feedback, hes well at it. the 2 people that have supposedly bought it are definetely made by the seller
#5
Would be quite easy to buy off him, get the info and process required and then do a "not as described" claim against him if it doesn't work.
#6
Sony have stopped continuous play now.

what do you mean?

and i have a fully working 1st gen, with cfw...if this worked i would consider doing it ofc i would need to create the pandora battery and whatever else is needed to get a new cfw these days ready before hand lol

i dont get why he wants faulty ones though, it would be a little more convincing if it was older working gens at least

Any1 willing to try that?

oic, so then how is that guy still running his business then... :O

would be great to swap my old psp 1000 and get a psp 3000 and choose the colour

Being a sceptic, I wonder if he's got a bunch of copy 3000's and is basically PX'ing tem for the older 1000 and 2000's. That way he shifts his stock, and gets genuine ones to repair and re-sell?

well im not testing until proven properly lol :) well the courier wouldnt be affilated with the person, so maybe you could speak to courier and have a look at the psp 3000 quickly, check if its geuine then hand over your psp
#13
it must be the old sony return service as thats what the couriers do, you give them your faulty psp and they give you the new one. Most likely he will give you the sony number but this trick hasn't worked for time
#14
was think of buying any cheap faulty psp on bay and trying this but if it doesn't work i will have a a faulty psp and will be about £40 out of pocket

sony have stopped the continuous play service so that definitely will not work.

The Guy on ebay probably has a continuous play account and will just get the courier to come and pick up the unit from YOUR address as opposed to his. Don't see how the courier wouldn't notice that the two different models (1000 and 3000) look massively different :s
I can see that it might work with a 2000.... but then again you'd need a serial number to give to sony and if they instruct the courier to check it matches you're screwed.

2 ppl who have pretty decent feedback say it has worked in his feedback
#17
its tempting, message him asking if he will do all the organising ie phoning up sony etc. If he says he will then id do it

i need to buy a faulty one first but if this is continous play trick, most ppl who sell their psp faulty are the ones who have reported it already to sony so may not work
