i was in the queue for thorpe park and I had an extra BOGOF voucher, so I just gave it to the man in front of me who was about to pay full price. I thought nothing of it, then about 5 mins later he ran up to me and gave me a fiver! i never expected that!

Dont know about you but I would be freaked out if a man started running at me with a fiver

That's very nice of the lady in Woolies.
Well done to you Sheep 87 and an unexpected reward - good:thumbsup:

I asked a man who was sitting arouind in Orlando airport if he wanted my unopened bottle of water, as I knew I couldn't take it through security. He laughed and said 'no' so I put it in the bin with all the other bottles of liquid.

I have no recent recollections of acts of 'stranger kindness'.

A nice man gave me 2 fast passes near Disneyland entrance, cos he and his family were leaving early for the day.
I happily used one for the space mountain thing and nearly broke my neck and hip bones:oops:

We were waiting for the plane from Sharm in Eygpt and i had about £50 of local currency that i did'nt want to take back so i approached a oldish guy who was sweeping up and gave it him, i was told later that it was abou two months wages for him:?

Yes, I expect that some time in the future I'll be absolutely parched, say in an Australian desert, and a kind person will give me a bottle of lovely cool water.

Not that I would ever expect to be repaid for a simple act of kindness.

Actually you get them on here, in misc, all the time.

i was buying from market - stocking fillers - when i was paying guy asked for £2 less - as i didnt ask for a discount!!!! (i usually do but the items were well worth the price)

there are nice people out there - as you all say - what goes around - comes around!!:-D

Minstrel Man donated £7 to pay delivery for a picture for my nanna.

The picture looks great.

She was shocked and pleased and she couldnt believe how kind someone could be.

We had some pre-paid fast track tickets for London Dungeons but our daughter was feeling ill at the time so we gave them free to a cueing family instead.

Nothing like that from a person shopping but today I went to New Look to get a dress that was half price and I'd had my eye on for ages. It's black and white and .... oops LOL anyhoooo... I also got a couple of other tops that I liked and took to til. One of the tops was in the half price section but went throught at full price £18... gutted. I told the guy there was another on the shelf and they should remove it but I wanted the top even at full price. He came from behind the til and removed the others straight away and then took me to the sale dept where there were similar tops to see if I liked them (I didn't). He went back to the til and said " seen as though it's christmas you can have it half price anyway" awwww so sweet. I was so grateful, usually sales ppl very stroppy and have no time for customers, esp when there are huge queues! It was so refreshing to have this guy pay some real attention to me and I will write to his manager to thank him... Just thought I'd let ppl know that niceness and good customer service still exist (I was beginning to wonder lol) x

Very cool Mikebike... my sister in law always donates hers to a charity at an airport (I rarely have any left as it takes me months to save!) but it's nice to know that kind people are out there...

On Halloween we had loads of daft toys and sweets left after our little party, the kids over the road were havin a party too and we took over a big bag of stuff to their Mum to share it out... they looked so confused as to why we would do that, which is so sad because I thought it was a really nice gesture...

I had something similar, i was persuading my wife to go on Everest in Animal Kingdom and a couple gave us fast pass tickets for the time it was, so we could go straight on it, meaning she lost the argument and we had to go on it!!!

I live and work in london.. I work in the square mile and I've always had people be really kind to me and I do the same back... even in NY everyone else had a new yorker shout at them or be really rude to them but everyone was super nice to me?? I'd chat to random people on the train there and even got a coffee with a few... I speak to loads of random people in london too...

but I also make sure i'm really polite to everyone and a smile really goes a long way. and when I have spare food I always give it to the homeless and give seats to the elderly ect... and defos give spare tix and things like that away! when I was travelling round europe and was moving to the next country I'd give my spare bus tickets away to people arriving at the airport...

one time I was in a backpackers and a girl who was leaving gave me a mobile phone to keep with the equivalent of about £20 credit!

I guess what goes around comes around
