We're looking at putting our lcd tv on the wall to keep the little one from touching it all the time. Does anyone know roughly what kind of cost is involved? Thanks in advance.

I don't think I could! I'm better at DIY than my other half but I don't think I would know where to start lol

Its really not that hard, I've done a few now and they never took to long, may take two people to lift tv on to wall, If you can drill a hole and screw your sorted ;)

Remember to use the huge bolts that come with the bracket for attatching to the wall.

I have 3 well behaved children and they know NO means NO, But when cbeebies is or Nick is on they could not resist watching it close up and pointing at stuff leaving smear marks on my plasma, so I wall mounted, it was very easy to do myself, but if you feel you need someone to do it for you I would say about 50-150.

A word of advice mount it as low as possible.

I just keep thinking of the advert with the guy dancing in the living room and his tv crashes to the floor! I think I'm probably safer not attempting it lol Thanks for all the advice tho :)

Spot on, it isn't too difficult, far easier than wall mounting TV's.

We paid about £75 for someone to come in an reroute the arial/sky cables through to the attic and then down into our bedroom. Fully inclusive of the TV bracket. All done within a couple of hours.

Hassle free and looks brilliant.

The guy in question was the Sky engineer who came to fit the HD+ for us - said he did a bit of work on the side so we used him.

Thanks that sounds a good deal I just need to find someone like that then lol. I've got a couple of people to ask before I go to yell and the lady over the road her son is a sky engineer so might be worth asking.
