Hi ... i have just recieved an email from eBuyer for an Internal Blu Ray Player for £49.99 .. if i was to get one of these and put it in an external caddy would i get the full HD from the Blu Ray through the USB .. ? .. I have a 1080p Screen and have looked and found Power DVD 10 software does Full HD ...

or does anyone one know of a cheaper external Blu Ray player that is has it all including the software . ?

If your EHCI implementation is decent and you also have a decent CPU you should be able to.

I have this PC .. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Touchsmart-600-1040uk-Desktop-Touchscreen-Processor/dp/B002R8L6PQ

they also did this pc with blu ray which i thought i had ordered but after it came and i found it didnt and found that it was £400 more so i just kept this one

@ the moment have you got and external usb 5.25 DVD writer if so download ImgBurn from mirror 6 and download burn plot ... when installing untick the ask toolbar when prompted don't be click happy on mouse.. Then stick in a 16x dvd and if you have a 20,22,24x burner tell it to burn @ MAX and then see where you usb drops off via the graph data provided by imgburn and burnplot or imgburn and DVD info pro (think you can get a trial still) or opti drive control (see graph and log below) you will get adn indication of how your usb performs if you have and external 5.25 dvd writer hooked up via usb)
