When i plug my hdd into my laptop it makes the laptop makes the noise as if it's recognised it but when i go to my computer it's not there.

So i went into disc management and it is there, it says it's healthy but it has no letter allocated to the drive and when i right click on it i can;t change the drive letter.

anyone got any idea as to how i can get this drive working?
