Extra money needed!

Like everyone we need more money. My partner is off work now for about 5 weeks and has nothing to do really and was thinking about getting one of those jobs where you get letters, put them in an envelope and then put a stamp on etc.

It was her idea but I told her most of them are scams expecially where you have to pay them to begin with!

Are there any genuine ones out there?

Cheers!

homework arghhhhhh when saving like crazy for our wedding i used to roll airline towels,6 lil white thin face towels had to be rolled into a blue tray, sprinkled with lemon,a pair of plastic tweezers put on top of each tray and then cling wrap the tray, took ages to do a batch of 1000 trays lol and for rolling 6000 towels I got a measely £15! didnt mind at the time cos every lil helped but talk about time consuming, now if we go away on holiday i always refuse the on board face towel lol

I also badged birthday cards and wrapped them, that was £10 a 1000,got to really be desperate to do it cos its hard graft and the money is rubbish, heard that the stuffing envelopes is a con too but not had any first hand experience with that, what ever you decide to do good luck :)

there are genuine versions of this job as i worked for a company based near tower bridge in london we delivered all the mail and leaftlets etc and collected with in a certain timeframe, the money wasnt nothing major but put the work in and you could make £200/£300 but seriously one old couple did it as they where both retired, and to make say £300 they had enough boxes/bags to fill a whole big delivery van lol those get rich ones are 100% a scam

i think you have to contact loads of different companies directly - i wouldnt bother with any off the internet as they are always scams- i tried writing off to loads when i first became a single mum as i wanted to earn from home and none of them came to anything - am always looking for more work though (even tho got 2 jobs already, still skint!) so if you come accross any let us know!!

Would she be interested in selling Avon, i do.

It is a nice sideline if you get regular customers.

The hairdressers shop near me, orders £100+ every month.

If she wants more details pm me and i will let her know all my selling techniques.

Well i never really gave it a 'proper' go. It can get a bit tedious listening to some very poor music and rating it. You have to listen to the first minute of each song before you can leave a comment and rate it. So effectivly you are earning 3p a minute.

If your reviews are good and in detail you move up a star and earn 5p rating. Then 8p, 10p, 12p.

What about proof reading? I've heard you can get paid for doing that. Or if you have a car what about delivering phone directories, yellow pages, ikea catalogues etc. That's what I did one summer as a one off. I got about £120 for delivering 1,000 directories. It was hard graft and took me a few trips in the car to collect the directories but I got them delivered within 2 days so not too bad.
