  Doesn't the decision Have something to do with the impending court case?
  
  Maybe they didn't want to aggravate the situation further by having a sutuation. If Ferdinand shook his hand that could be portrayed as forgiveness by Terry's defence lawyers?

  Couldn't believe that UEFA are going to allow him to lift the champions league trophy.
  
  TBH though I'm not sure Bayern Munich are going to want him joining in their celebrations anyway.

  I cant see them letting him lift the trophy, the Reason Keane couldnt lift it in 1999 was because he was suspending although he put united into the final.
  
  it just seems with John Terry its one Rule for one and one Rule for another.
  
  There still could of been a handshake and ferdinand could of ignored Terry!

  As for the handshake thing i think it is due to the court case. However WHEN he is found guilty i hope he is castigated by the press just as Suarez was. Terry almost cost his team the CL final and also has slept with one of his team and best mates girlfriend and got her pregnant.

  true but the handshakes still could of happened and ferdinand could have snubbed terry, but the whole QPR team probably would of so to stop terry being humiliated like he has done to so many others, they withdraw the handshake, one rule for one and one rule for Terry, he is supposed to be a role model to people in England as England Captain, no one the country is the way it is!

  Captain Steve Perryman played in every game apart from the second leg of Spurs European final in 84 after getting booked in the first leg. (Note he didn't physically assault anyone off the ball.)

  I agree as he is suspended he shouldnt be able to lift the cup that was the rule for Keane in 99, and has been for players throughout the competition double standards in my opinion!!

  There was a good rumour going round yesterday that Terry deliberately directed his knee into Sanchez's hamstring as he was known to be carrying a hamstring injury. Video would seem to concur.

  he told porkies on tuesday also, commentator said at half time terry told him the player cut across him and he was changing his stride or some p*** like that,

  Exactly half time he was making a story up so that he could appeal the ban as he knew he would be out of the final then someone has obviously said john watch the video it shows the maliciousness in your body language!

  Do you not think that because of what happened with saurez and evra where saurez refused to shake hands they dont wjant that situation to happen again. It could lead to a riot or anything.
