The only reason I think they maybe real, and why they keep changing usernames, is there breaking import/export rules for the chinese market as they probably are real, just for the chinese market only.
#9
Its fake, but you are getting it at a third of the retail price so you get what you pay for :)

Yeh but whats the real difference with clothes that makes them fake, where there made if there identical how are you meant to tell?:?

Without being wierd, I bet you the Liverpool shirts are made in the same factory but priced up.

Most our clothes come out of China.
#12
Item location: Thai, Hong Kong

MMmmm, I wonder?

I think that the likely explanation. Which is good for us, as they seem to only have 3 a week of different clubs, so I'm guessing there either failing checks, or there from some other reason (nicked) Lets face it the wage there probably getting is a joke for what they make.

The way i see it if these were real then why sell them at £11? Surely just by undercutting the real ones by a fiver, £34.99 you would still sell these by the bucket load. Also the fact that adidas or genuine is not mentioned once in the listing leads me to believe they are copies. Identical looking copies mind you but they are not official Liverpool/Adidas merchandise. It is easy for companies to copy shirts exactly http://www.scoredraw.com/ this company make replica shirts from all different eras of football and are the only company to make "official" replica Man United shirts for example.

I would normally agree with you on that.

But the way eBay works they would be targeted really quickly by the admin team and the way people report.

If they sell them cheap with no mention of the legitimacy of the item they can shift them without any problem, this is where I go to the stolen/standards conclusion. As they are still fully tagged and have the logo even on the back of the shirt it has the faded out LFC logo, very good detailing.

Having seen the fake version of the United shirt (this seasons white one) compared to my authentic one there is very little difference. The fake one also had all the necessary tags and the details in the right placing. Just because it has tags and the correct detail doesnt mean its authentic. If you look at that scoredraw website the shirts are exactly the same to the miniscule detail as that is what they are designed to look like, but they are not the same product as you would buy from a club superstore.
Im sure if you emailed Liverpool or Adidas with a copy of the ebay listing asking them to clarify that the item is real then im pretty sure i know what their response would be.
Im not saying they are a bad thing, just saying that in my opinion they will definately be fake. As i said before you are getting something for a third of the rrp and if you believe them to be real then great :)

Ebay dont give a damn whether something is fake or not ,Just try reporting something and see what happens,All they care about is the fees,There are thousands of fake items on Ebay and i dont doubt this shirt is one of them,If it cost £12 then you are getting a £12 shirt so be happy at that,

Sorry my modelling career had to be pulled short.

Not Sure Mac can't see why not even you have a search, I couldn't see any difference from the real one. I'm happy with it even if it's fake unless someones going to study which factory it was made in.
#36
If it is a fake one, it's pretty good. However if it is real why would it have the badges on as they are done at the retail stage?

Also, if you were a true supporter you would pay the price and put money into the club (liverpool fan here) instead of potentially funding something nasty, as you have no idea who is selling them or how he/she is obtaining them.

Although at the price, I am tempted myself.....

Yea, when you go into JJB, they do it in front of you, all the ones already with names on have been done in the shop. The ones from LFC online are done in the Club shop, they don't come from factory with the badges on as far as I'm aware.

Okay thats nice to know. Could this of been done for another country, as they are interenationally sold?

I'm still of the belief its not fake as such more from a curropt source. Which doesn't make it any better as your club point was made out, but the tickets I buy to watch a game are real, if they didn't stop making the game into a buisness I'd be able to afford a £60 shirt. You get me.

Oh yea, I get you, I'm not questioning your morality, I understand that football merchandise is overpriced. I prefer however to have the security of buying from a shop, not eBay.

I download music and videos like any other person, so buying a "fake" shirt is on a par with that.
