Few people are going as film characters from 70's/80's..star wars...jaws etc Others taken are scooby doo..danger mouse..punk rockers..penfold.. can anyone think of something good to go as..rep to the good ideas.

The Ghostbusters made their own outfits. Dead easy by the looks of it & cheap.

They had the white disposable boiler suits on - you can get them from likes of B&q for a few quid. They made the backpacks out of cardboard boxes with what looked like old hoover bits & other stuff. They had painted water pistol things as the blaster guns or whatever. And I think they just wore plain boots or wellies or something.

I've got a few pics showing some of the costumes that might give you an idea but not sure if I'm allowed to put them on here - self promo/other peoples permission kinda thing.

Boy George would be an easy one to do (white sheet as dress/top, some plaits and a hat) and it would be topical too given the recent headlines :-D
