for no apparent reason whilst playing GTA4 (not online) the ps3 turned itself off .
I tried simply turning it back on but the ps3 turned on but it beeps and then turns off right away with the red light still blinking.
ive tried everything and nothing seems to work, the red light is still constantly flashing.
GTA4 is still inside and wont come out too.
Ive had this ps3 which is my second for 10 months only .
Any help will be much appreciated.
thanks

I have heard Sony are spot on with replacing them. fingers crossed, touch wood and all that I've not had to experience it, but I'm sure there are people on here that say they've phoned them and had a replacement delivered in something incredible like a couple of days

Yes, both times it's happened to me they've been with a replacement the very next day. They drop off the new one and take the old one at the same time. :)

Maybe put your PS3 in a better air'ed place, so any heat can easyly get away.
Not in a closed cupboard, just saying as now your 3rd, might be envirmental
