I'm not even sure why Die Hard is contentious as it includes pretty much everything that you would expect. Its set at Christmas, there is actual Christmas music in the soundtrack, there are decorations on show and references to Santa throughout. Ho ho ho.

It's not exactly the first Christmas film that comes to my mind and its the only Christmas action movie I can think of! I don't dislike it mind. No mention national lampoon yet or is it just me? I thought it was a classic.

Love most of the films already mentioned.

Missus and I watch The Family Man when putting up the tree. Well. I say 'we' but we normally fall out over which baubles go where so I crack open a dram and watch it on the couch.

Always make me laugh..

Steve Martin "where's your other hand"
John Candy "between two pillows"
Steve Martin "those aren't pillows"

Absolutely classic. Watch it whenever it is on...
