Mine are spiders and needles. With spiders I tend to let them have their own corner of the room and I stick to the other. With needles, I have EMLA cream now and despite being insulin dependant and have to self inject four times a day, they still terrify me and it doesn't help that I can feel the needle inside me and any movements, I know about, needless to say, a lumbar puncture was not easy going!

So come on, fess up :)

Long ladders, comes from working about 30ft up a ladder drilling a hole, the guy footing the ladder got distracted and the ladder slid backwards with me holding on with one hand and a drill in the other, when I hit the bottom the drill trigger had locked and was about 2 inches from my head.

My other is cows which my other half who grew up on a dairy farm thinks is hilarious.

Its the way they seem to follow you if walking through a field, you look back but they stand still even though the space between you and them as not increased no matter how far through the field you are.

Didn't help staying over at the in-laws one Christmas as they had a new born calf that had been born in snow and ice, we was trying to warm/defrost it with towels, blankets and an hair dryer as the after birth and crud was frozen solid, all of a sudden the mum came lunging over the gate where she was fenced off, nearly crapped myself on the spot.

EDIT: Just looked to see the name for this and apparently its Taurophobia, weird as I am a Taurus, no wonder I avoid mirrors!

I'm constantly giving blood for this, that and the other and got told I would get used to it all. 5 years on and there is no way I have, hence the EMLA cream which is meant for children, not adults :(

Heights and the thought of being trapped in a tight space dont go down well with me.
#33
I have a really bad phobia of butterflies and moths.
I'm often seen in the summer months ducking and diving like some kind of nutter, kids think its hilarious.
#34
I have a fear of heights, dying, and pidgeons flying too close to me.

My hubby is terrified of birds too, ( the feathered variety ! ) and bats , was hysterical when he tried to be brave for the kids sake in the bat house at Chester Zoo, his cap got knocked off by a low flying bat and he let go of the kids hands and went running out sreaming loke a baby , lol..........all 6ft 4'' off him X)
