Mods can't really do anything, best you can do is leave appropriate feedback to warn other users then pursue other methods yourself to reclaim your money/goods, by either filing a paypal claim, contacting police in the case of fraud and of course taking them to court to reclaim funds. Of course all these will usually require you have the correct name/address...

If you follow the rules you will have some degree of contact ie landline phone no. address etc.

All I would advise is,

Buyer beware, people will take your money with no intention of sending your item.

Seller beware, people will want the items but will have no intention of paying.

Trouble is they spoil it for the rest of us.

Be careful out there.

Edit: Its not for the mods to police it. Unless they start charging listing fees etc to pay the mods which is a road we dont wanna go down. Unless.......

I think they should get rid of fs/ft as it seems to cause lots of problems and will give the website a bad name for allowing people to get ripped off which isn't what (imo) this website is about! but i've never purchased anything via fs/ft and only around 3 items on ebay! :)

It does seem to becoming a regular thing on here lately.

As previously said it could easily become renowned for scamming.

For the higher priced items I would insist it went through ebay.

I have only purchased one thing through HUKD and I insisted it went through ebay, a lot more comeback if it goes wrong.

Take the PS2 sale (although I think all will turn out ok) it would have cost a couple of quid to list and you have much more protection. Just my opinion but I think it would work.

yes - past few months loads of fs - one last night selling the contents of a warehouse judging by listings he put up!!

the established sellers and buyers off each other must have each others emails so they can inform them what theyve got ...etc

if people really want to sell stuff - ebay them!!

bought a few dvds of 2 people on here no probs
