But surely there's a greater danger of 'spillage' when removing it? Thrying to be as delicate with my comments as possible

It had been spammed

I think there a brand called Mooncup too. These are the sort of items that chemists etc want to stop selling so you can often see them on clearance shelves.

He's not here, I know why it was removed though so I'm going to remove again now- the OP's account was flagged, and it wasn't Bobby90 who posted, it was a new member.

The discussion can continue here :)

But surely there's more mess when you pull it out? I noticed your jokey comment about stocking up on rubber gloves in the other thread so you obviously thought the same at that point

Ok I've had a look at the femmecup website and it looks a pretty good idea however I'm not too keen on idea of having something in there all time you on period,in same way I don't really like tampons.
#18
I tried them, i would like to feel comfortable enough to wear them but i just cant . I feel it will over flow and leak! Very eco friendly and would save me a fortune but i just " cant " lol
#19
I am on the cusp of giving one a go.....I like the idea of being able to pop one in before the main event,so you don't get that nasty feeling when you are out and about!

Hi ladies, thanks for your concern, PLEASE give the femmecup a go, its cheaper than the mooncup and its NOT a clearance product!! It is a growing market, all the shops will stock it soon, bye bye horrible, soggy unhealthy tampons!! PS thousands of women use cups, its nothing new its just better!

:giggle:

Just looked on the website and it says you can pcnutta!! (link here) What can't this thing do?!?!

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone's actually used it and not liked it?? All the reviews seem very positive!

I've often wondered how you manage one of these in a public loo? I presume you are meant to wash it out and won't it be quite messy? I've never got on with tampons - but I am now fortunate to have the Myrena coil fitted (having had my two kids and don't want any more) so no periods for me!! Woo Hoo!!

Good luck to all you gals who decide to try it. Surely it doesn't hurt to try it. Either it will be great for you or not. Nothing much to lose really.

I was reading the faq's on the website and it has one about using it in public toilets... says that because you don't need to empty it very often that most people don't get put in that situation and if you do then empty it & just to wipe it with loo roll and then rinse it when you can...

I've gone for it anyway! I'm quite intrigued by it... lol...
