Change you answering machine message to say "sorry can't answer i'm in bed with my lovely new girlfriend" calls will soon stop, mind you there a slight chance you'll find your pet in a pan of hot water :|

I hope your not speaking from experience!! Thats jus wrong

Oh no, not that, i meant about hurting the pet, thats just wrong. But if ur ex-bf changed his voicemail message to that, then he is a loser, and he probably was lying too!

Just doing a 2 second search i found 2 Apps that block number on the iphone if your phone is jailbreaked.
The Links below show they cost money but I'm sure you can download them from a Torrent site if you look for Free ;-)

Someone wrote this about the Link below (Okay. I have the app! Go to iTunes Store...get to Applications..in Search box type in Blacklist. Download the app ($1.99..and well worth it!). Sync to your iPhone. You can now type in the numbers you want blocked and sync with all the unwanted tele-marketing numbers that are now able to call you on your cell phone.)

How can he block the numbers if he doesn't know what they are?

He wants to know who is calling and not block them

Op switch off the phone at that time for a week or so,that's will do the trick
