I got my first negative today of a buyer (hate the new feedback system) he made me part refund him cause the used trainers wernt up to the standards of another ebayers £15 more new trainers, i gave him the refund to avoid any negatives as he assured me he would leave it at that (no feedback left) although he hasn't. Grrrrrrr... Anyway i was wonering is it possible to get 100% again with a negative?

think feedback now goes off whats been left over the last 12 months, so if you dont get another neg for 12 months it should go back to 100%

think thats how it now works

ask ebay to revoke the 'neg' - as you gave him a part refund

make sure you reply - he cant stop you doing that

you can but try - good luck

Just think of yourself as a rebel. It's not much of a big deal having a negative. Ebay sucks donkeys anyway.

Yes, its a rolling system now over 12 months.

Thats harsh OP, keep you eye on the buyer and see if he sells things... would hate someone to return the favour one day.....

Well, strictly speaking - 100% would mean ALL positives.

But, if you get to a point where your percentage is 99.95, then eBay round it up to 100%. Your feedback would have to be at least 1000 to get to that point though

Nope, its all changed now, its a rolling system over 12 months. That neg will not count to feedback score after 12 months

ask ebay to revoke the 'neg' - as you gave him a refund no purchase actually took place - technically??!!!

you can but try - good luck

Yeah i have emailed ebay although i only gave him a 50% refund and he kept the trainers so it makes me even more angry about the negative

Yeah, its better really, having bad feedback cuz of something that happened 2 years ago or something is harsh lol

I'm wondering what would happen if you gave a full refund then demanded the trainers back.. not sure what happens then... anyone know?

Would ebay make him return the trainers and remove the neg?
#13
i think they will only remove if he agrees-i got one removed a long time ago cos it was a mistake.
#14
Why would the fact your trainers weren't as good as some more expensive new trainers matter if you were open in your description about the condition as being used?

If you sold them as used and didn't talk them up to much in your description I don't see on what grounds he demanded a partial refund.

go on give us the item number??

Definitely, and as well I think I have 7 negs - 6 of which were from selling some mobile phone unlocking software for £1.49. If it didn't work straight away the buyers didn't ask for help or a refund, they just left a bad feedback!!! :x

Ebay's new system is absolute BS!!

Apparently they are going to be reviewing the stupid idea, and hopefully reinstate the power for sellers to leave negative feedback!!

ebay sucks
i aint sold on there for over a year just does my head in with the fees they take so much your left with hardly anything

thats why i done 4 bootfairs this year made lots of money and no fees just £12 a pitch ha ha

I got my first neutral feedback he other day,not as ad as bad feedback bu it's still annoyed me.

When i questioned the feedback gthe buyer said because he thought my emails to him were "cheeky" and i had personally offended him lol

I thought about emailing ebay about it as the service i provided was spot on,i don't think personally offending someone is reason to leave neutral feedback
