I was wondering how much it would approx cost to get a plumber to fit a bathroom suite..my mum has been quoted £799 including bathroom but if you get a basic one from b and q for £150 surely fitting it wouldnt cost that much...or does it? Its a small bathroom and it would only be bath..sink and toilet ....thanks guys

Sounds too much to me. Best try a few others before you make your mind up. At that price I'd fit it myself.

depends what sort of suite that includes, if its better than a basic one then it aint bad, if its the cheapest of the cheap not so good, also depends if stuff needs moving like water pipes, water outlets, or is it out and in job

It's more than just taking the old one out, and the new one putting in.

As always, get a few people to quote you, preferably use people who have been recommended.
Don't just go with the cheapest.

Depends on the quality of the suite he's thinking of fitting really - including the brassware - that all adds up.

Basic isn't always best.

thats what i paid for mine to be fitted. i got the bits myself. and my brother did the tilling. can pass you the number but in in Devon. not sure how far they would travel..... good luck

Personally I'd fit the bath and the sink myself..... But pay a plumber to do the toilet. Don't fancy that job much;-)

i paid £200 to get mine fitted. ask friends if they know anyone . they may do it cheaper
