Doubt it as it would work against their sales, and also they would need to have expert knowledge of all car seats to ensure the are not sued.

It would help if you said which car seat you have as all reputable manufacturers should have clear instructions available online.

However if you are really that unsure about your abilities I would take it back and go to halfords.

thats the carseat ive bought, it didnt come with a manual just a diagram on the side of the carseat. ive tried to see if i can find anything online about fitting it but couldnt see anything. in all the reviews it says easy to fit, so maybe its just me being thick lol

It should have an instruction book, is it under the seat ?

i hav the next one up from this and it so easy to fit once you know so mayb its the same, the instructions are rubbish, mine took me ages to figure out mine only goes through the back of the carseat through the plastic bits. hard to explain it though, should have come with a booklet or bit of paper aswell thou

youtube vid looks helpful if it's same seat.
Also found this in reviews of argos seat.

In lieu of any written instructions, the following may be helpful:
The two diagrams for forward facing and rear facing installations are colour coded and to match the colour stickers and strap fittings on the seat to provide the path of your seat belt.
When threading the seatbelt through the seat it is helpful to initially recline the seat fully to provide the biggest gap for your hand to fit through.

Have you got colour coding?
edit - looks like it from the argos pic

Hi, sorry don't know anything about your seat. However, you can go to ANY fire station and have them fitted for free. We have been to ours loads of times. This scheme started A couple of years ago (my blokes best mate is a fireman) especially so that people using a 2nd hand seat or buying from a shop that doesn't fit seats can be shown how to fit them properly. May be worth calling your fire station first though as ours has 2 firemen that are car seat trained so in the past I have called and checked when they are next in. Hope this helps xx
