Flash forward-anyone following this show?

Think it has great potential but the 3rd and 4th episodes are leading me to believe it could descend into nonsense the way lost eventually did. Nothing really actually happens until the last 2 minutes to leave you waiting for the next one.

Will stick with it for now but hope it becomes a bit more substantial soon.

Lost is good - very good.

Flashforward is slow, boring, illogical and mind-numbingly stupid.

Can't wait for tomorrow's ep, which is why I have set my clock fast.

I have not watched it yet but want to as I thought it looked good, anyone know where I can catch up on it?

Lost was/is dull, even the writers didn't think it would last beyond the first series

Flashforward is getting interesting, love the Brit element and now they've introduced Dom

i agree i think it will get 'lost'. there are 25 episodes i think to get lost in. cant be bothered to sit through all episodes. i thought the idea was good for a film though.

Except Lost always had an endpoint in mind - and Flashforward is based on a book.

But apart from that:roll:

each to their own m8-first season of lost I was totally hooked-season 2 was not bad, since then imho its just been question after question with no answers and soo many episodes dragging it out-only reason I will watch the final season is cos I know its going to end.

wish all these great american shows would just get to the point and tell the story -I understand why they drag popular shows out for the advertising revenue but they just ruin it tbh.

prison break got silly, heroes is just ridiculous now too.

lost didnt always have an endpoint in sight m8-even the writers admit they made season one up as they went along, never believing they would ever have to explain any of it because they thought it would get cancelled.

once the ratings started to plummet they were kinda forced into stating when the endpoint would be to keep viewers watching.

 I've given up on it already for the very point you made, its going to be dragged out long time.:lazy:

perhaps made into a film would have been better.

The ending of Lost has been known since the very start - they struggled when they had no definite end date.

Ever since abc set one, it's been more focused. You probably gave up when it was a little less focused and treading water.

That's exactly what I said to my mate the other day - it could going down the Lost path i.e stoopid. If so I'll stop watching it, got better things to do with my time.

I stopped watching Lost when it went to Sky and have never really missed it.

yeah i love it but am also worried it will get losty. i do also love lost, but id rather flash forward didnt start to go that way.
the smoke in the shape of a crow at the end of the last episode was VERY losty.

A quick reminder to those Flash Forward fans out there (if you can remember whether you watched it or not) it returns with a double bill on channel five tonight at 9pm.

Not everyones cup of tea but worth a reminder just in case.

There was a catch-up programme on at midnight last night, surely they would of been better showing that tonight (or at least showing it when more people would notice!)
