hi guys

if a group of people have booked flights together and the lead passenger no longer can make the trip, does anything need to be done or can the rest just turn up at the airport with the paperwork? (easyjet)

I suppose so as well Lou, because all the passengers in the group are named when the booking is made, but. like Predi says, I'd phone and check.

thank you - i will ring nearer the time when we know more, just wondered if anyone had any knowledge of it, we are off to portugal in 3 weeks but my mum is quite poorly with back problems and has said her doctor has advised not to fly if its not completely better :-( not sure i want to go without her but cant lose the money i have paid

If it's doctor's advice couldn't you cancel and get the travel insurance to refund?
I'm pretty hopeless with this sort of stuff TBH but surely it's worth having a look at your policy.
Poor mum though; hope she'll be on the mend soon.

i thought that but it would cover her only i assume? as everyone else is ok, im hoping she will be ok but tbh, shes not been good for a long time, recently been diagnosed as having rheumatoid arthritis aswell, so not looking good :-(
