Flower Delivery Help Please

Need to send 2 bunches of flowers and just wanted some advice on where provide good quality (or where to avoid).

I did use Tesco but they no longer do flower deliveries. I generally use John Lewis / Marks and Spencers / Next - but wasnt impressed with Next last time so wont use them again. This limits me to 2 different websites, so looking for suggestions of where else to try.

Obviously I could just do a google search for other florists, but am looking for personal experiences of service and quality and feel that I can trust the opinions of HUKDers.

The last few bunches I've sent have been with Interflora and they've always been really nice bouquets. Great delivery too and often they will come with a free vase. Also, you get 10% Quidco I think.

I only send flowers via local florists as they do much better/fresher presentations than the big companies. May be worth looking one up on Yell and giving them a call. Got my mum a bouquet back in Jan from my local florist for her 60th and it cost me £30 delivered which would have cost me double on a well known site.

local florists are always the best, and you get to speak to someone so they maek the bouquet to your requirements, not just a set design, makes it a bit more personal

Thanks, rep on its way to you all

Unfortunately we have 2 bad local florists. We do like supporting local businesses, but both florists charge ridiculous prices for flowers that dont last very long. Very disappointing. Forgot to mention this in the original post

Will be taking a look at valueflora and interflora

I sent my nan flowers through moonpig and she loved them, she said they were really nice.

I thought the prices were really good because there were some nice looking bunches there, unusual ones
Didnt even know that moonpig did flowers, have used them for cards before now *heads off to take a look*

Rep sent when I can (I am maxed out for now!)
For flowers ive always used buyagift.com, havn't let me down yet and delevered some nice flowers use code 357951 for a £5 off anything with no minimum spend!

Good luck

Oooo beat me too it, I use these guys all the time, fantastic value, and great flowers, in fact a bunch is winging its way to my lovely neighbour as we speak ;-)
