Fonera.. Anyone know anything about it/have one?

Its a WiFi router that does a load more apparently.
i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them as it looks awesome!
Look at the Hardware side of it, not the connection sharing aspect!

I dont think you have to, the option is just there.
but if the router does all that it says it does it makes it a great geek toy :P

I don't see the point, you can't access any other network unless you let anyone use your broadband.


lol that would be how it works yes... if no ones sharing their conn hows anyone gonna use them :p

i wasnt looking at it from a broadband sharing point of view.
i was looking at the hardware side of it and what it can do!

A dedicated linkstation or even an old pc with freenas would be better.
Or if you can find one cheap, an NSLU2

can you expand on that for me?
as im looking for something which:

[LIST]
[*]Low powered, so can stay on all the time
[*]Act as a NAS with any Attached drive
[*]Acts as a Webserver for a small personal website
[*]can be used as a Bit Torrent downloader
[*]can be remotly accessed from outside the network, i.e if i am away i can add torrent files to the download list, access files etc
