Food Steamers ???

As I'm newly divorced, looks like I'm gonna be spending more time in the kitchen, so can anyone recommend a decent food steamer (not to cheap). 3 tiers would be fine I think.

Also can you boil spuds in these, in the bottom I presume

Thanks for any advice

I had an electric one, but couldnt get on with it, so resorted to a 3 tier stainless steel one for the hob like this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8612050/c_1/1%7Ccat_12108409%7CCookware%7C12108524/Trail/searchtext%3ESTEAMER.htm
Potatoes in the bottom and various veg in the others, works a treat :)

Funny you should say that. I tried some brocolli but it came out like rubber so gave up on that idea

I got one of the Lloyds Pharmacy ones when it was £5.99 delivered, use it 4 - 6 times a week - had it 6 months now and still as good as new!

And yes - Spuds cook a TREAT in em!
