Foot pain - Any docs in here?

Hi guys and girls, recently started with a pain in my right foot and having got up for work this morning Ive realised its now a lot worse and Im really struggling to walk without pain.

It feels like its on the top of my foot and hurts when I position my foot normally on the floor, put weight on it or when pushing off to the next stride. The pain seems to be less severe when Im wearing no socks strangely enough (no jokes about a stone being in my sock etc) but is still hard to walk.

My job requires ALOT of walking and theres no way I can work today with it. I have just recently started my new job so the excessive walking is more than likely the cause. Day off 2moz so needs to be better by thursday or I'll be skint this week!

Thanks alot in advance any help would be much appreciated.

Jim

would you not be better going to your docs...or try nhs 24?

yeah my gf needs to go into town so is going to book me an appointment but obviously that may not be in time so just thought in the mean time if anyone had any useful tips it could speed things up.

Did you drop something on it ? Build up of fluid or a lump maybe. Its likely going to hurt less without socks because socks are tight around your foot. See the doctor today
