But you should be able to load cd in someones pc and then use the code to activate steam on your netbook and play the game without the cd present.

buy a usb cd thing, i think u can get a check one on ebay

there is a code on the book if bought from new the code will work on steam, just click add steam product and it will validate the code and then download, you can then sell the cd on as it is still playable through that (Its what i did on release day :))

Yea mate, thats the one i bought, code is on the back of the manual dont even have to touch the disc then if you are going to sell it on (I sold it here) just put on the listing that the steam code has been used and so you cant activate it on there, but the game still works from a install from the disc :)

Thanks mate or even just give it in at cex.. do you need a fast laptop for this game?
#13
you can use a no cd crack to pretend you have a cd in or else software such as magic disc to emulate having the cd in the dvd drive

You could prob get £7.50 for the disc without the steam code.

In fact i'd give you £7.50 for it.

Fair enough its a decent price they offer. Just be aware that they might reject it. I tried taking in FM2010 and they said they will only accept sealed copies because of the online code but then took it back 3 months later when FM2011 came out and they had no probs giving me £10 for it.

So hopefully you get lucky.

If not then let me know :)

That makes sense, when i took im FM10 they hadn't yet started to do that sealed version price so prob why the never accepted the trade in.

They def will now though obviously.

you should do the same as fazzx, buy and trade in to cex, or put it on the bay as they are selling there for 15-19 quid + postage(Steam code used), after fees you will probably have paid about 3 quid for the full game

Ye might do, borrowed a mates copy at the moment but it seems the cheapest way to get my own.

WHOA! MINIMUM SCREEN RESOLUTION 1024x768

Football manager is virtually implacable on netbook! I would know - I've tried... (1024x600 impossible - I don't know what screen size you have)

you can download a skin to use in the game to make it playable on 1024x600
