Love FM.... best PC Game ever..... obv. the newest ones are the most expensive ones.

The latest is usually the best version, FM 08 which you can get quite cheap now but bear in mind the 09 version is coming out next month I beleive.

The PC version is also much better than 360 by the way, the game was made for mouse.

Personally, I would hang on for the 09 version - they usually release a demo about 2-4 weeks before release that is normally a 6 months gametime. The new one has a release date of 31/10 according to play.com.

do you know if anything is drastically going to be changed? whats new in 09 just quicker load times and updated squads?

Not entirley sure, as I've stopped using SI forums where all the latest info is.

Could be worth checking out, but generally they tweak it every year and introduce a few new features. Essentially the game is perfection but they mess about with it a bit every year and obviously update squads and the like.

Its a fantastic game and the link that Ritchie posted above is very helpful regarding players to sign, tactics, formations and training etc.

You are probably better off buying FM08 to get used to the feel of the game, to get you ready for the new one. A word of warning though, be prepared to kiss goodbye to the normal world. You will spend hours and hours playing the game.

The amount of sleepless nights I have sat awake playing the game is unreal. Its always a case of "I'll play this next game to see if I can reach the next round", before you know it you're wide awake, its 7.00 in the morning and you've reached the final of the Champions League.

Enjoy
