hi, I've been a long time reader and am in need of some help from the knowledgable folks that reside here. I have just installed the cd version of FM09 via steam and absolutely hate it, is there anyway I can re-set the activation key so that I can re-sell tthe game?

if there is a way of re-setting the key does anyone want to make an offer on it?

Thanks

Sal

Your best bet is to take it back to the shop. Or if you got it online tell them you want your money back. They have to give you 14 days from day of purchase to return.

No idea about the resetting but either way it might not work and you might not get what you paid for it.

would it not have to be re-sealed for a return?

Why did you not like it mate?

I was thinking of getting this but heard some bad reviews.

I just felt it was over complicated and a bit bloated. to be honest I haven't really liked the series for a numer of years as I felt the core game was being lost to all the media interaction etc.

As for being sealed to return it, thats not the case. Because of numerous problems for activating the game on release day, many shops are accepting the game back and giving refunds or exchanging it for other games. They can't check if the game has been activated or not. Just say you have not been able to get back to the shops until now.

The game itself is brilliant, its indepth and not for those that just want to pick 11 men and lay a game of football. If you want that choose a FIFA game.

Anyone that does buy the game i suggest removing it from Steam upon actiavtion as its a pain, and apply the new patch.

I have just found the game more realistic, on 2008 it didn't take me long to knock five in past Chelsea or Man Utd with a much lesser team. 2009 is a much different story, also the media comments and ever little option can actually effect the mood of the team or a certain individual. The 3d match engine is great, give you the feeling of being more interactive with players on the pitch.

If you can get the game for say £25 then its worth it, but i wouldn't pay the full £39.99 for it.

Also like every CM or FM, its not perfect! We can all see things we would like included or excluded. I think many wanted the ultimate management game, but that isn't going to happen as they would have nothing to sell next year.
