These 2 paragraphs really got my blood boiling !!!!!!!!!!

" eligible for parole in THREE AND A HALF YEARS' time. " (wtf !!)

"In court, his barrister spoke of the effect this case has had on Luke." (no one should give a second of thought for how luke feels, disgusting)

Complete and utter disgraceful sentence.......

Prob a good job we don't get to choose, I don't think he'd be out again, more inadequate sentence's. Parole in 3.5 yrs, 4 yr ban, wow, should be 10 year when he gets out and serve the 7 with no parole

Actualy make it a 10 inside and aa 10 ban

Personally I think anyone caught drink driving over a certain level should be banned for LIFE. Make there be REAL consequences for these t**ts.

Yep with you on that, I am in the driving industry, watching the police progs on tv and seeing the light sentence's they get is frankly worrying :x and I am sure the police must get frustrated.

Pathetic sentence, they should have made an example out of him and sentenced him the maximum, and then multiplied this x2.

I wonder how the family of the deceased feel? My thoughts and I'm sure many others are with them too! They have all my sympathy and I do hope their pain recedes with time.

Unbelievable that this piece of filth could get behind a wheel in 4 years time. Chances are he could never bring himself to (if the scum had any kind of concious) -- but to actually give him the choice. Unreal!

I saw the guy in goal for Plymouth when they came up to West Ham for a league cup game pretty close to the upcoming accident.

Just shows you again you never know what's around the next corner - literally.

What a terrible story - sentence is farrrrr to light. The kids' parents' life's are ruined beyond repair.

What's this country coming to, blah, blah, blah...

Disgusting beyond belief !!:x

The poor parents will never get over this.

It really is a pitifull sentence for what happened to that family.

I wouldn't bet against it being reduced on appeal.

I don't see why in cases of death by dangerous driving the law can't be changed to allow people to be charged with manslaughter instead and give the judges the option to sentence accordingly.

88 months isn't enough for this offence, but the judge couldn't really give any higher.

My heart goes out the family who lost the children - their suffering will never end

If you are a police officer it looks like when you kill someone £500 is the value of their life!
