I phoned to cancel my Morgan Stanley credit card, got put through to a different department. I was asked if there was anything they could do to make me stay. I asked them what they could do and they offered me £10 credit. I guess i might have even got more if i had asked for it.

Moved this to misc :) I think it's more a tip off than a deal.

Thanks :)

£10 from them "free"? How much have you paid them in fee's/interest though the time youve had their card? Is it that good a deal really?

Never paid them a penny, infact it is a cash back credit card so i have earned quite a lot from them thanks. To answer your question, yes it is a good deal, £10 for less than 5 minutes work.

Thanks, I may give it a go, it's worth a try.

I am, I assume, the same as you, I pay my total balance off every month, I have earned a fair bit in cash back.

I also keep whatever i spend in a seperate savings account until i need to pay the balance of which earns me a few quid in interest every year.
