I have recently used a trial of norton back up with has run out, not really clued up on this kind of software. What software is good to use, don't mind if it is an online back up service. Free preferably. Thanks in advance and rep to those who help.

For automatically backing up to an internal/external drive Cobian and AllwaySync are the best free apps (AllwaySync Pro costs money).

There is also PathSync, which lets you easily compare and sync folders on an ad-hoc basis (I keep it on my USB stick - very very handy app).
