wonder if the newsagents will be shaking them before putting out for sale/delivery?
#6
Surely not every paper, as you'd just buy them all.
#7

#8

it gets voted cold for the simple reason there is NOT cash in every paper, and the key word here is COULD, theyve done it before if you dont win anything u will prob get a bingo card or something useless in its place, its how they call tempting people to buy it, simples

That's why...
#12
It doesn't state 'could'

From reading that tweet, it seems like there will be notes in every paper
#13
We shall find out tomorrow when I'm laughing as I've just won £50

Hehe (fingers crossed)
#14
surely the newsagent will just go through each one before putting them out!
#15
just seen an ad' on TV, there will be tear open envelopes in every paper, with a chance of it containing cash, maybe it'll be sealed in with the TV mag.

I say you've more chance of winning £1b on the euro Millions draw tonight, Kelly Brook and Jessica Alba knocking on your door right now wanting a threesome etc than actually finding any cash in any paper....
#19
Sounds like a cheap ploy to sell crap newspapers to gullible ****.
Cold
#20
you get a wallet inside the paper and it "could" have one of those amounts inside
#21
Worth a punt I suppose
#22
If they're sealed in the paper/mag, what's to stop the newsagent just running a metal detector over them to pick out the metal strip? Wouldn't a builder's pipe detector do the job?

kind of lottery 1 in 1000 of papers will have Just one £5 but as always customer loose or will be cheated
#24
Jesus god guys

The paper only costs about a quid

Your all sounding like it's the end of the world if you spend that quid and get nothing, least you get a tv mag if you don't like the paper

I buy the paper anyway, but I just don't think the odds on winning anything are going to be that good. It certainly wouldn't pursued me to buy a different paper if the promotion was elsewhere. But I guess someone's got to win!

By that rational the national lottery is a hot deal. (which incidentally, it isn't)

This is no different from a lottery; though atleast with a lottery you know what your odds of winning are. This give-away has not declared what the total prize fund is, nor has it enforced any kind of security.

Therefore it's a con, plain and simple - designed to rip off stupid people who do not appreciate probability. (just like the national lottery infact)

please, will someone else spam this, for sanity's sake.

Yes the plastic bag which contains the tv mag, the paper wallet (which may have money in it) and various advert fliers is sealed

Then the paper wallet which may contain the money is also sealed with a perforated tear off to open it and show whether there is money inside or not.

So to fiddle the promo any newsagent or customer would have to steal the whole tv mag plastic bag out of copies of the NOTW. From which I think customers buying the paper might notice the tv mag is missing

This should be back in deals

Where is all the apologies now to all the people that wanted to spam the deal

Especially Zurich (eat my words comes to mind)
#40
Oh god,

People vote high when saving £20 off something that costs over £100

Yet when an offer like this comes along with only the price of the paper

It's voted cold haha
