Im not sure how many people on here are actually into watching the football but i myself have some what of an addiction :S, Did anyone today here the Wigan Athletic chairman say that he would like to introduce 1-2 games next season or the season after that the fans could go for free?
Not only do they now have the cheapest season tickets in the premier league:

EDIT: After Blackburn Rovers

But by introducing this really shows how commited Dave Whelan is to getting football back to the local people in these hard times. I myself am not a Wigan fan but have great admiration for what the club is trying to do. I suppose things would be different if they had a 50,000 sell out every week but who knows...

Blackburn is cheaper, 140 for adults.

You cannot argue with that, this whole post is about clubs doing right by the fans

I'm just saying they're not the cheapest like you said in the OP..
I don't even support a premier league side..

They're both great prices for Premier league football though.

It's all about getting people through the door, when they are located so close to Bolton, Blackburn, Everton, Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City it's hard to compete. They have to charge basement ticket prices as those clubs have an established fan base whereas Wigan are relatively new to the football league and predominantly a rugby club.

When their attendances go up so will their prices and their offers of free tickets will disappear.

Boro and Newcastle for me, I would have preferred Hull to go down instead of WBA but that's impossible now.

Out of the four that could go down I don't think the league will really miss any of them.

Newcastle can do with a stint in the Championship as just rewards for the way Ashley has run them.

Hull would just be hilarious as people were actually seriously talking about their chances of finishing in the top six.

Boro should have gone a long time ago, like Charlton was I think they've been in the league for too long. It's all down hill for them if they go down.

Sunderland - They're the only one I have a soft spot for as they have Ferdinand and McCartney

Oh and hopefully Burnley come up and not just because they play in the right colours.

I would have to agree, boro and newcastle for me
