Just wondered what anyone thought of the free laptop offers that are about. Was going to buy a laptop and sign up for Virgin or T Mobile router but their prices start at about £20 month for small data allowances.

I could get a free lappy for £30 unlimited data (24 month deals)

Be grateful for any advice. Thank you!

I would not do it. In the end, it is better and cheaper to buy your own laptop. Remember, the free laptops are not really free.

Moved to Misc. Feedback is for HUKD-related questions, problems and suggestions only. Thanks.

I just thought if I had to buy a laptop at £300+ and then pay for internet at £30+ per month cost would be 30 x 24months = £480 + laptop - £1020

If i got the free lappy offer this would cost me say £30 month x 24 = 720

If you can get truly unlimited data for £30 then go for it, and post it on here, since that's an excellent deal. However, even if it claims to be unlimited at that price it's likely to have a 1GB limit like those found on £10-15/month deals so you're still going to be paying £360 or £480 for the laptop, which can probably be had for that price, if not cheaper, seperately.
