As title says. Just check the boxes of whats wrong with your part and fill in your address. 2-3 days later you will receive your replacement part. If you cannot find your serial number or have already got rid of your broken part then just leave the section which asks for the serial number blank, and it will still work. This is not a freebie as the parts are intended as replacements. Larger broken items will need to be returned upon receipt of replacements.

Yes, the WT guitars are a different shape and include the touch sensitive bar on the neck. As for any technical differences, that's beyond me!

They probably won't send it unless you entered a valid serial number anyway, especially if they suddenly get 1000+ enquiries in the space of 15 minutes

After you complete the address is that all thats needed? they just ship one out from then?

I do actually have a fault with one of my drum cymbols but im not at home to get a serial number atm

Looks that way. I'm at work so don't have the serial from a faulty guitar so left it blank. Think they'll probably query ones with no serial. If they do I'll hopefully be able to supply the serial later on.

I am sorry but this isn't a deal. It is just good customer service for those with the kit being covered by their warranty. I am just glad I got my replacement for my broken guitar earlier this week because it doesn't look like they will continue with the excellent service if posts like this continue to pop up.

This isn't a Deal, but I've moved it into Freebies for now. It does work btw - one of my children has a PS2 game version & the IR receiver that you plug into the console stopped working & they sent out a new one by registered courier about 18mths ago . I was very impressed with their customer service at the time.

Well my mate had a new guitar off them and 1 week later he had a prepaid royalmail bag to put the broken guitar in to send back to them .

Just to let you know a courier will pick up the guitar approx 10 days later brother did it good job he didnt throw it away . fella said they would have billed him for a replacement

Hi, I've just looked for some paperwork on it. I telephoned them & was told to raise a report on their website via a Customer Contact form & was emailed the link. I supplied the Receiver model number & a description of the fault. They had me go through a checklist to ensure it wasn't my error & then they posted a replacement out. All done very quickly ;-)

Did so !! And he would have been billed by them for the courier service aswell . So people are not scamming them by making up serial numbers. Which reading into this post a bit more people are considering doing.

same thing happened when I got my replacement guitar. faulty strummer thing on it, replacement came quickly and then had to return faulty one.

Is this with the same service? Because with this one you dont receive anything with the guitar apart from the box it was in, and still nothing a month later. You would think if they wanted the guitar returned they would send you details with the guitar. I wouldn't worry if you've already chucked your old guitar, because by the fact that they say absolutely nothing about you having to return the broken one, they can't expect you to have held on to it and then suddenly a request days or weeks later. There is also no way at all they can charge you for this since you do not give any personal details in the application, and in any case someone else could easily have put in your name.

I had to do an RMA for a dodgy strum bar last month and as mentioned above the replacement came through super quick but like a couple of others have said, make sure you keep hold of the dead one as they will collect it at a later date. It's just common sense otherwise the system would be abused BIG time, I'd imagine that the dead guitars will go in for repair to be sent out as replacements as mine looked to be a refurb

They cant do a thing if you dont send anything back! They havent stated that the item must be kept, so you could just say that you threw it away after the replacement came :roll:
